Anthony J. Caggiano, Esq., of Counsel

Tony Caggiano is a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer, a recognition earned by less than 2% of all Florida attorneys. For over 25 years, he has passionately obtained justice for families and individuals involved in car accident, injury and medical malpractice cases throughout Florida and the United States. As an expert, he believes each client deserves the highest recovery possible; and, has achieved numerous multi-million dollar results, including a $30,000,000 jury verdict, recognized as one of the Top 100 Verdicts in the United States. He has proudly served as Chair of the Civil Trial Certification Committee of The Florida Bar, which tests and determines other lawyers’ fitness and qualifications to earn this highest recognition.

Mr. Caggiano attended Suffolk University Law School in Boston, served as a writer and editor of its Law Journal; and became a member of The Florida Bar in 1984 and The Massachusetts Bar in 1985. After graduation, he began working for a distinguished insurance defense law firm in Miami, Florida. Within a few years, he decided to take his experience and knowledge of how insurance companies defend cases to begin to benefit those who suffer needless injury.

Mr. Caggiano has lectured to the legal profession and his writings have appeared in legal publications. As an author, he continues to share his experience and knowledge with consumers in his latest book, It’s Your Case, Take Control. This book, which he continues to offer for FREE, provides the solid information consumers need to choose the best lawyer and to maximize the value of their claims.

He is honored to hold an AV rating from the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. “The ‘A’ signifies the highest level of legal ability, while the ‘V’ denotes ‘very high’ adherence to professional standards of conduct, ethics, reliability, and diligence.” He is privileged to be a member of the American Board of Trial Advocacy – an invitation only association of experienced trial lawyers who have demonstrated high personal character and honorable reputation. He is also a member of the Florida Justice Association, the American Association for Justice, and serves of counsel with Anthony Meehan Genova, PA. By working with Mr. Genova clients receive exceptional attention and dedication in accident, disability, injury and medical malpractice cases; as well as criminal law and family law matters, including alimony, child custody, child support, divorce, paternity and relocation. Each client is treated like family and shown the respect and compassion they deserve.

Mr. Caggiano is also passionate about providing free legal services to those less fortunate. The Eleventh Judicial Circuit and the Dade County Bar Association have recognized his efforts for providing free legal work in Miami, selecting him for a pro bono award in the area of general civil law. He has also served as a guardian ad litem for abused, abandoned, and neglected children through the Orange County Bar Association in Orlando. Having served on the school board and faithfully working through his church, he is committed to giving back to his community. He and his wife, Sara are blessed with four children. Despite his accomplishments, he is quick to share that his faith and family are his priorities.
